ONE DAY!!
Hi guys!
One day left! (Taiwan time)--the rest of the team should be getting on the plane tonight :)
So, our adventure begins!
The name of our blog is Romans 10:14-15:
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
In Chinese: 羅 馬 書 10:14-15 (pronounced, luo ma shu)
Immediate Prayer Requests:
1) Travel: The team as they take the plane over to Taiwan. It's been rainy with rumors of a possible typhoon headed toward Taiwan.
2) Prep: Our first few days in Taiwan will be for preparations. Please pray that we will not be too stressed out as we prepare and that we won't lose sight of why we are preparing/what we are really preparing for
3) Energy and Jetlag: Right now it's hot, humid and rainy in Taiwan, so pray that we will be able to get used to the weather and have enough energy to prepare well. Also, jet lag is going to be tough the first few days--and we don't really have time to properly fix our timezones/jetlag.
4) Team Unity and Right mind/attitude/heart: Again, it's hot, humid and rainy. Pray that we have good attitudes and tolerance for each other when it gets physically tough.
I think that's it for now. Thanks for all the support! :) Also! Let us know how we can pray for you!
Sending love from Taiwan :D (Sharon)
